PoliciesRegistrationWhen registering at Wight we require that you provide information about yourself that is true, accurate and current. Should any of your details change at any time please notify us immediately via the following email address enquiries@wight.co.nz Eligibility to PurchaseThe ability to purchase products from Wight is strictly limited to parties who can lawfully enter into and form contracts on the Site in accordance with the New Zealand Law. In order to purchase from Wight you will be requested to register your personal details. You must provide your full name, phone number, email address and other requested information as indicated. You will also be required to provide payment details. Further to this Wight will only accept payment from those with a valid credit card by a bank acceptable to Wight who has authorised Wight to process the required charge. Also by making an offer to purchase products, when Wight deems it necessary, you authorise us to perform credit checks, to authenticate your identity, to validate the credit card used, to gain an initial credit card authorisation, to authorise individual purchase transactions and to gain or provide information about you to or from third parties. Pricing PolicyAll prices are displayed in New Zealand dollars. You will be billed in New Zealand dollars. The final price will be calculated in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day your credit card company processes the transaction. Acceptance of Your OrderWe reserve the right not to accept your order. This will take effect under circumstances such as – we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment, the item is out of stock or has been withdrawn or that shipping restrictions apply to a particular item. Your AccountIn order to shop at Wight it is not required that you have an account with us. However there are many benefits.
To create an account simply click `Sign In’ and register your details Gift OrdersIf you are purchasing a gift for somebody it is no trouble for us to send it straight to them with a personalised message from you. Simply click the gift option on the purchasing page and you will be prompted to enter the delivery address and have the option of writing a message to be included with your gift. OrdersIf you have registered your email with us we will notify you of the arrival of new products as soon as they become available on the Site. What can I expect from your email newsletter?If you have opted-in to receive our e-mail newsletter, we may send you periodic e-mails. If you would no longer like to receive promotional e-mail from us, please unsubscribe using the link on the newsletter. If you have not opted-in to receive e-mail newsletters, you will not receive these e-mails. Sizing GuideSizing InformationOn every product page you will find a link to our Size and Fit guide and a separate link to our Sizing Guide (sizing conversion chart). In Size and Fit you will find measurements for each size of the product and instructions on how to relate these measurements to your own. In the Sizing Guide you will find a universal sizing chart. If you do require further information about the fit of a garment our fashion advisers will be happy to assist you. CurrencyAll prices are in New Zealand Dollars. Duties and TaxesDepending on the destination of your purchase you may need to pay additional taxes or duties. Please check your local customs for more information as Wight will not be held responsible for any additional taxes or duties levied by your country. Free ShippingEvery now and then Wight will run a free shipping promotion. To be sure you know exactly when these will occur please register with Wight mail by clicking here. Order ConfirmationOnce your order has been received and processed we will send you an email stating that your order and payment have been accepted and dispatched. You will receive a tracking number so that you have the ability to track your order online. Insurance and DeliveryAll items shipped must be signed for on receipt. We are therefore unable to ship to Post Office Boxes. Wight insures all purchases during its time in transit. On receiving your purchase your signature will be required at which point responsibility for your purchase is passed on to you. If the item you have purchased was for example a gift and sent to a different delivery address from your own then the specified recipient who signs will in the same way accept responsibility. If you choose to return the product we hold no responsibility if the item is lost or damaged during its return to us here at Wight. Returns and RefundsHow to Make a ReturnWe here at Wight understand that sometimes it is tricky to make a purchase without trying the garment on. That is why with our simple returns procedure you no longer have to worry about purchasing online. If you do wish to return an item you are entitled to exchange, receive a credit note or a full refund excluding shipping costs. Please familiarise yourself with our returns procedure below
ExchangesIf you wish to exchange your purchase for a different size or different product please state this when you request you RAN and we can place it on hold for you. Once we receive your return we will send out your new item/items free of charge! If you have decided to exchange for an item with a different dollar value we will credit or debit your card to match the difference. Credit NotesIf you wish to receive a credit note for your purchase we will apply it to Your Personal Wight Account in the form of a gift certificate and when you make your next purchase you will be able to deduct the value of the gift certificate from the total value on the checkout page. Please note credit notes/gift certificates are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Gift ReturnsIf you have received an item as a gift and you would like to return it you are entitled to an exchange or a credit note. Please follow the returns procedure above. If you require a credit note you will need to register with Wight (if your not already). Click Login at the top right hand corner of our site to do this. RefundsYour refund will be credited back to the original purchases credit card and will exclude shipping costs. Please be aware it may take several days for the refund to show in your account. Late ReturnsAll returns should be received by Wight within 10 days of you receiving your RAN. Late returns may not be accepted and will be sent back to the customer – this is at the discretion of Wight and may only be available for exchange. Please note the same applies if a RAN is requested after the 3 day time frame. Returning an Item on SaleUnfortunately all Sale orders are final and no returns on sale garments will be accepted. Faulty GoodsGoods are deemed faulty if they are received damaged or when a manufacturing fault occurs. Damaged as a result of wear and tear is not considered faulty. If Wight deems your product to be faulty due to a manufacturing fault and Wight is not able to repair or replace the item then you are entitled to exchange the item or receive a refund. Wight has the right to repair the item before an exchange or refund can take place. Sold Out ItemsHere at Wight we do our utmost to ensure you our customer are satisfied. If an item is marked SOLD OUT please do not hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to try and for fill your order. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee this as it is subject to stock availability from our suppliers. I received an email saying that an item I purchased has sold out?This is a very rare circumstance and every effort is made in order to prevent this from happening. However there may be occasions when the items availability status is incorrect. If this situation does occur then we will do everything possible to try and source the item for you and failing this we will refund your credit card for the purchased amount. We will make sure we keep you informed with each stage we take.
