Within these pages you will find information about common issues such as security, privacy, returns, refunds, delivery, ordering plus a few more! We may from time to time alter sections of our Terms and Conditions so please check these regularly.

Policies

Registration

When registering at Wight we require that you provide information about yourself that is true, accurate and current. Should any of your details change at any time please notify us immediately via the following email address enquiries@wight.co.nz

Eligibility to Purchase

The ability to purchase products from Wight is strictly limited to parties who can lawfully enter into and form contracts on the Site in accordance with the New Zealand Law.

In order to purchase from Wight you will be requested to register your personal details. You must provide your full name, phone number, email address and other requested information as indicated. You will also be required to provide payment details. Further to this Wight will only accept payment from those with a valid credit card by a bank acceptable to Wight who has authorised Wight to process the required charge. Also by making an offer to purchase products, when Wight deems it necessary, you authorise us to perform credit checks, to authenticate your identity, to validate the credit card used, to gain an initial credit card authorisation, to authorise individual purchase transactions and to gain or provide information about you to or from third parties.

Pricing Policy

All prices are displayed in New Zealand dollars. You will be billed in New Zealand dollars.

The final price will be calculated in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day your credit card company processes the transaction.

Acceptance of Your Order

We reserve the right not to accept your order. This will take effect under circumstances such as – we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment, the item is out of stock or has been withdrawn or that shipping restrictions apply to a particular item.

Wight is an authorized online distributor and takes pride in the fact that each and every product we sell is 100% authentic guaranteed.

How to Shop

  1. You can either shop by designer or by clothing style – choose which you prefer on the homepage
  2. Once you have found an item you would like to purchase click “Add to Shopping Bag”
  3. Once you have added it to your bag you will be asked whether you would like to continue shopping or proceed to the checkout
  4. You are able to review your Shopping Bag at any stage by clicking ‘My Shopping Bag’ at the top of every page
  5. You can remove items from your Shopping Bag by simply clicking the ‘Remove Item’ button
  6. Please note that while items are in your Shopping Bag they are able to be purchased by other customers
  7. Once at the checkout you will be prompted to complete your details and payment

How to use Your Wish List

  1. While shopping the pages of Wight you are able to add as many items as you like to your own personal Wish List
  2. You can view your Wish List at any stage by clicking on the ‘My Wish List’ button at the top of any page
  3. You can place any item on your Wish List into your Shopping Bag at any stage and purchase
  4. You also have the ability to send your Wish List to friends and family – a very handy tool for Christmas and Birthdays to ensure you get exactly what you want!

Your Account

In order to shop at Wight it is not required that you have an account with us. However there are many benefits.

  • You have the ability to shop without entering your address details
  • Receive email notifications for things such as new products, hot products of the week, notification of promotions etc
  • Review your past orders
  • Create a Wish List
  • Manage your Billing and Shipping address

To create an account simply click `Sign In’ and register your details

Gift Orders

If you are purchasing a gift for somebody it is no trouble for us to send it straight to them with a personalised message from you. Simply click the gift option on the purchasing page and you will be prompted to enter the delivery address and have the option of writing a message to be included with your gift.

Orders

If you have registered your email with us we will notify you of the arrival of new products as soon as they become available on the Site.

What can I expect from your email newsletter?

If you have opted-in to receive our e-mail newsletter, we may send you periodic e-mails. If you would no longer like to receive promotional e-mail from us, please unsubscribe using the link on the newsletter.

If you have not opted-in to receive e-mail newsletters, you will not receive these e-mails.

Sizing Information

On every product page you will find a link to our Size and Fit guide and a separate link to our Sizing Guide (sizing conversion chart). In Size and Fit you will find measurements for each size of the product and instructions on how to relate these measurements to your own. In the Sizing Guide you will find a universal sizing chart.

If you do require further information about the fit of a garment our fashion advisers will be happy to assist you. They have tried on each garment and therefore have full knowledge about specific cuts and fits.

Duties and Taxes

Depending on the destination of your purchase you may need to pay additional taxes or duties. Please check your local customs for more information as Wight will not be held responsible for any additional taxes or duties levied by your country.

Free Shipping

Every now and then Wight will run a free shipping promotion. To be sure you know exactly when these will occur please register with Wight mail by clicking here.

Order Confirmation

Once your order has been received and processed we will send you an email stating that your order and payment have been accepted and dispatched. You will receive a tracking number so that you have the ability to track your order online.

Insurance and Delivery

All items shipped must be signed for on receipt. We are therefore unable to ship to Post Office Boxes.

Wight insures all purchases during its time in transit. On receiving your purchase your signature will be required at which point responsibility for your purchase is passed on to you. If the item you have purchased was for example a gift and sent to a different delivery address from your own then the specified recipient who signs will in the same way accept responsibility. If you choose to return the product we hold no responsibility if the item is lost or damaged during its return to us here at Wight.

Returns and Refunds

How to Make a Return

We here at Wight understand that sometimes it is tricky to make a purchase without trying the garment on. That is why with our simple returns procedure you no longer have to worry about purchasing online. If you do wish to return an item you are entitled to exchange, receive a credit note or a full refund excluding shipping costs. Please familiarise yourself with our returns procedure below

  • In order to return an item it must be in new, unused condition and with all tags still attached. Returns that have been worn, or damaged will not be accepted and will be sent back to the customer
  • If you do wish to return an item please email enquiries@wight.co.nz and request a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) within 3 days of receiving your purchase
  • You will receive your RAN and a returns form via email with instructions on how to return the item. Please fill out this form and send it back with the item within 10 days of receiving your RAN. Unidentified returns may be sent back to the sender
  • Once the item is received it will undergo a quality control check to ensure the item is unworn and the original tags are still in place
  • All undamaged correctly returned products will be credited to the original purchases credit card within 7 days, or if a credit note is desired this will appear as a gift certificate on your Personal Account page, if you have specified an exchange then your new item will be dispatched to you free of charge
  • Items must be sent back in original Wight packing to ensure protection of the garment while it is in transit. Garments that are returned without the original Wight packaging may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer
  • We will notify you by email once your return has been received and processed
Exchanges

If you wish to exchange your purchase for a different size or different product please state this when you request you RAN and we can place it on hold for you. Once we receive your return we will send out your new item/items free of charge!

If you have decided to exchange for an item with a different dollar value we will credit or debit your card to match the difference.

Credit Notes

If you wish to receive a credit note for your purchase we will apply it to Your Personal Wight Account in the form of a gift certificate and when you make your next purchase you will be able to deduct the value of the gift certificate from the total value on the checkout page. Please note credit notes/gift certificates are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

Gift Returns

If you have received an item as a gift and you would like to return it you are entitled to an exchange or a credit note. Please follow the returns procedure above. If you require a credit note you will need to register with Wight (if your not already). Click Login at the top right hand corner of our site to do this.

Refunds

Your refund will be credited back to the original purchases credit card and will exclude shipping costs. Please be aware it may take several days for the refund to show in your account.

Late Returns

All returns should be received by Wight within 10 days of you receiving your RAN. Late returns may not be accepted and will be sent back to the customer – this is at the discretion of Wight and may only be available for exchange. Please note the same applies if a RAN is requested after the 3 day time frame.

Returning an Item on Sale

Unfortunately all Sale orders are final and no returns on sale garments will be accepted.

Faulty Goods

Goods are deemed faulty if they are received damaged or when a manufacturing fault occurs. Damaged as a result of wear and tear is not considered faulty.

If Wight deems your product to be faulty due to a manufacturing fault and Wight is not able to repair or replace the item then you are entitled to exchange the item or receive a refund. Wight has the right to repair the item before an exchange or refund can take place.

Sold Out Items

Here at Wight we do our utmost to ensure you our customer are satisfied. If an item is marked SOLD OUT please do not hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to try and for fill your order. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee this as it is subject to stock availability from our suppliers.

I received an email saying that an item I purchased has sold out?

This is a very rare circumstance and every effort is made in order to prevent this from happening. However there may be occasions when the items availability status is incorrect. If this situation does occur then we will do everything possible to try and source the item for you and failing this we will refund your credit card for the purchased amount. We will make sure we keep you informed with each stage we take.

It is so important to us here at Wight that you feel secure while visiting and shopping at Wight. Outlined below is proof as to why it is safe and secure to visit and shop on this Site.

Wight uses Volusion’s Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to secure the Site. SSL has a 128-bit encryption tool that encrypts and protects the data you send to us over the internet. All leading websites have 128-bit SSL Certificates to secure their websites and Wight is no different. Encryption involves converting the credit card number into a code that cannot be deciphered ensuring the protection of your payment and credit card.

You will also notice that the URL prefix (located in your address bar) will change from the standard http:// to the secure https:// when you proceed to submit your credit card details. This means that you are in a secure mode and all of your details are safe.

Other secure features Wight employs to ensure your protection include PCI/CISP certified and integrated IP blocking security feature.

Payment

Methods of payment we accept are all debit and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), PayPal and Google Checkout. We show support for all additional international PayPal currencies and Google Checkout UK.

Payment will only be debited from your card at time of dispatch.

This website uses a secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment. Please visit our Privacy Policy for further information in regards to how your personal details are kept private.
